Apparently it’s been 7 years since DIV released their last record and although this does have early 2000 vibes running rampant through the track, it has a lovely flow (and a bit of nostalgia ain’t the worst thing)…
Ok, so I’m getting a little (a lot) excited about seeing SBTRKT here in melbourne next week. I must admit I had little idea of who he was when I bought a ticket to his gig three or so months back. Since then he’s been a bit hard to miss thanks in most part to his self titled album, and the thrashing of track Wildfire featuring Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano.
So in preparation for the gig I’ve been going back over his old stuff, and I am so unbelievably impressed.
